Boom Concrete Pumping was built on faith, hard work, and a dream of creating a better life for our family. Before starting the company, I worked as a ready-mix driver, putting in long hours that often meant my wife, Phallon, and I barely saw each other. We knew we wanted something different not just a business, but a life that gave us more time together and more time with our kids. With a lot of research, determination, and more than a little risk, we made the decision to sell our little home in Salem and invest everything we had into building something of our own.

While driving ready mix, I noticed contractors were constantly waiting on concrete pumps, delaying jobs and costing valuable time. I saw an opportunity to provide a dependable service the industry needed. We purchased our first pump truck, and with no formal training, I taught myself how to operate it. Every challenge became another lesson, and every successful pour reinforced that we had made the right decision.

None of it would have been possible without Phallon. She believed in the vision from the very beginning and had the courage to trust me as we invested everything we had into one pump truck and a dream. She worked alongside me through the financing, paperwork, banking, and countless behind-the-scenes tasks required to launch the business. Her dedication, and encouragement have been instrumental in helping Boom Concrete Pumping grow into what it is today.
